The release of Living Out Of Time in 2003 brought once again another transformation, albeit a familiar one, for Robin Trower. Through a number of circumstances, Robin, along with Dave Bronze, Pete Thompson and Davey Pattison, managed to find the opportunity to record together again. The result was an incredibly soulful collection of well written songs performed by a veteran group of guys who obviously love to play together.  
  I have listened to this cd allot since the release, I know the songs well. It's a great album ...... but it seems that Robin and company wanted something more from it.  
 A decision was made to put it into the hands of Dave Bronze to make it somehow better than it already is. No small task! 
  I have been privileged to get to hear a couple of the new remixed songs. Dave has done an incredible job. The sound is different, the songs seem live or more alive, fresh, almost visual.  
 The first song I heard was Another Time, Another Place. It was seconds into it and I was thinking.... wow!  The same thing with Step Into The Sun. Wait till you hear this. 
  It is not very often that you get the opportunity to hear two different studio versions of a release, and judging by what I have heard so far the different mix showcases the songs and the musicians even more than the first release.  
Again, no small task. 
 My compliments to Dave Bronze for the work, and to Robin for letting us listen to this album in a new and different light. 

  I have also heard that this new remixed cd is going to be available at the shows of the 2005 tour!!  
 I am not sure when it will be available on trowerpower for us here in North America but watch for it.
